The Manager Pricing role requires a highly adaptable and results-oriented leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can effectively manage periods of high workload and competing priorities. This position requires proven People Leadership experience, along with a solid understanding of healthcare claims processing, reimbursement methodologies, and Medicare and Medicaid pricing structures. The Manager Pricing serves as a key liaison between business and technical teams, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead challenging discussions and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups. This role also requires the ability to lead and develop a team of analysts and testers while ensuring high-quality delivery and operational excellence. The Manager Pricing is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to support client needs, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance affordability and operational goals across the organization.


You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support bi-weekly release activities for Community & State (C&S) and Medicare & Retirement (M&R) within the PSI product line
  • Partner with technical teams to develop and maintain the annual release schedule
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and support team members in their professional development
  • Support Medicare and Medicaid health plans with pricing updates, issue resolution, and business inquiries
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for operational and production issues
  • Manage inquiry inventory, tracking, prioritization, and status reporting
  • Actively participate in leadership meetings, client calls, and onsite engagements
  • Collaborate with health plans to support changes and enhancements related to government programs and initiatives
  • Provide oversight and support for pricing activities associated with annual CMS audits
  • Ensure completion of annual internal audit requirements and compliance activities
  • Present and evaluate solutions objectively while facilitating collaboration and conflict resolution
  • Analyze, document, and model current-state and future-state business processes
  • Assess system enhancements and changes for downstream system, process, and organizational impacts
  • Prioritize, track, and drive resolution of defects, issues, and enhancement requests
  • Escalate issues and risks to product owners and leadership as appropriate
  • Develop meeting agendas and provide timely follow-up documentation and meeting minutes
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define service levels, performance expectations, and operational goals
  • Build and maintain solid working relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Validate that system functionality meets business requirements and documented specifications
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of supported platforms, customer-specific configurations, databases, file systems, and application architecture
  • Facilitate and support meetings conducted through Microsoft Teams and other communication channels
  • Lead projects of varying size and complexity from initiation through implementation and post-deployment support
  • Manage and maintain inventory tracking and reporting tools
  • Develop strategic, innovative, and practical solutions to business and operational challenges
  • Lead and support organizational change management initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
  • Provide accurate and timely status, issue, and time reporting as required

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, either through direct market experience (health plans, hospitals, physician organizations, etc.) or through healthcare technology solutions
  • 3+ years of experience with healthcare claims processing and pricing methodologies, particularly related to government-sponsored programs
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare reimbursement and payment methodologies
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience within a large, matrixed organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; High School Diploma/GED with 5+ additional years of relevant healthcare reimbursement experience will also be considered
  • 1+ years of AI experience
  • Experience supporting the PSI platform
  • Experience with Facets and Cosmos
  • Rate Manager experience
  • Coding experience and/or professional coding certification
  • Demonstrated analytical, technical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • EnterpriseNow experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
