The Paid Social Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of paid social campaigns for the Government Programs Growth team. Working closely with internal partners, the marketing manager will execute the approved strategy, manage campaign setup, optimization, and reporting across social platforms to drive direct-to-consumer outcomes.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with digital team members on the development of paid social strategy, channel role, and audience approach
- Manage paid social programs to ensure campaigns are properly structured, built, launched, and tracking correctly (pixels, events, and conversion APIs as applicable)
- Own daily campaign optimization, testing, pacing, and performance measurement across paid social platforms
- Oversee creative development and approval process, including ad specs, creative testing plan, and iterative learnings (e.g., hooks, messaging, formats)
- Develop reporting and key insights on paid social performance, inclusive of full funnel metrics and incrementality where available
- Evaluate and improve internal paid social processes to support strategic planning and implementation (e.g., naming conventions, measurement setup, partner billing, audience setup, and creative trafficking)

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in digital media in client and/or agency settings running complex paid social programs
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social in-platform and via partners, including campaign setup, audience strategy, and optimization
- Experience actively managing multi-million-dollar paid social programs
- Experience with Adobe Analytics
- Advanced understanding of paid social tactics and measurement is a must (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, YouTube), including lead generation and conversion optimization utilizing both 1st and 3rd party data sources
- Advanced tracking and analytics knowledge
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial services, insurance, or technology experience
- Platform and measurement partner experience (e.g., LiveRamp, FreshPaint, Invoca) and/or any social analytics tools
- Experience with DOMO or Tableau visualization and reporting tools
- Experience in managing complex media projects across multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience with media planning process
- Understanding of digital direct-response and brand marketing tactics and best practices
- Constantly learning about the ever-changing digital ecosystem - with a willingness to test new tools and technologies
- Passionate about results, achieving goals and communicating successes
- Passion for paid social with an understanding of platform dynamics, auction mechanics, creative best practices, and measurement complexity
- Proven highly analytical with advanced problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work within tight time constraints, providing near real-time insights to team members to ensure targets are achieved

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
