Position Summary:
As the Product Manager, you will play an important role in helping bring product strategy to life through solid execution, thoughtful coordination, and clear follow-through. You will support assigned product or benefit areas - starting with the M&R Dental portfolio that reaches over 7 million members -across vendor coordination, product or benefit setup, operational readiness, reporting, materials review, issue tracking, and customer experience support.

You will partner with Product, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, market teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to complete deliverables, manage dependencies, route questions, and support accurate and timely execution.
The ideal candidate is organized, curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working through ambiguity. Success in this role will come from the ability to track details, follow up on action items, document decisions, and communicate progress, risks, well thought-out recommendations, and next steps to the appropriate stakeholders.
This role offers exposure to a broad set of business partners and product execution activities, making it a solid fit for someone who wants to build product management depth while contributing to work that directly supports operational excellence and customer experience.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day product management and operational execution for assigned ancillary benefits or programs, including benefit setup, implementation readiness, materials, reporting, issue resolution, vendor coordination, and member experience support
- Partner with product leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategy into clear workplans, deliverables, timelines, decision points, and follow-up actions
- Coordinate with internal partners across Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, Marketing, market teams, and vendors to move assigned initiatives forward and ensure execution is accurate, timely, and aligned
- Support benefit design and product configuration activities by gathering inputs, documenting decisions, tracking changes, and helping validate source-of-truth information for assigned products or benefits
- Track implementation milestones, operational dependencies, readiness activities, risks, issues, and escalations so leaders have visibility to progress and barriers are addressed quickly
- Prepare and maintain materials for vendor meetings, business reviews, leadership updates, implementation checkpoints, issue logs, action item follow-up, and decision documentation
- Support vendor sourcing, procurement activities, contract documentation, statements of work, implementation service agreements, and ongoing vendor performance follow-up as needed
- Coordinate customer, member, market, and operational materials through review and approval processes, including marketing resources, training content, vendor-created materials, and benefit support documentation
- Support reporting and financial processes by collecting inputs, reviewing details for completeness, monitoring due dates, coordinating invoice or payment documentation, and routing questions to the appropriate subject matter experts
- Help resolve member or customer escalations, appeals and grievances, market inquiries, operational questions, and vendor issues by gathering facts, organizing background information, documenting resolution steps, and tracking follow-through
- Monitor open items related to network access, eligibility, digital experience, customer experience, reporting, and operational performance to identify risks, dependencies, and recommended next steps
- Bring forward well thought-out recommendations that include supporting rationale, options considered, key risks, stakeholder impacts, and proposed next steps to help leaders make informed decisions
- Create and maintain trackers, readiness checklists, meeting notes, reporting calendars, decision logs, and status updates that keep work organized, transparent, and aligned across stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in product management, program support, operations, vendor coordination, project coordination, or a related business execution role
- Experience supporting vendor deliverables, reporting requirements, issue resolution, implementation activities, or business review preparation
- Proven solid ability to organize work across task lists, project plans, readiness trackers, status updates, meeting notes, action items, and follow-up items
- Proven ability to review detailed operational, financial, regulatory, or customer experience information and summarize key actions, risks, recommendations, and open questions
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines, document decisions, communicate clearly, and follow through on details with accountability
- Proven solid attention to detail and comfort working with internal stakeholders and external partners to track open items and support completion of deliverables
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting health care, insurance, financial services, or another regulated product or program environment
- Experience coordinating materials, training resources, reporting calendars, vendor reviews, implementation checklists, or operational readiness activities
- Experience using data, reports, dashboards, or trackers to monitor progress, identify open items, and support follow-up actions
- Experience using AI, automation, or workflow tools to organize information, reduce manual effort, and improve task tracking
- Proven interest in growing product management skills while contributing to meaningful, customer-focused work in a complex and collaborative environment

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
