Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Dedicated Client Advocate will be responsible for providing education and training for this dedicated provider network. This position will provide ongoing training, education and relationship building for all providers in states where the Client has membership
  • This position will require additional provider education along with the high touch high service model that is contractually required for this dedicated provider network
  • The Client is a high touch, high service client that requires expedited resolution to service issues
  • Responsibilities also include assuring network adequacy, and access standards are met for the new Client membership and develop and executes recruitment plans, where applicable, and coordinating with dedicated contracting team

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a related medical field or health plan setting (network management, contracting and/or recruitment, or provider relations)
  • Experience interfacing effectively internally with all levels of staff and externally with a wide range of people such as physicians, office staff, hospital executives, medical groups, IPA's, and community organizations with the ability to communicate and facilitate strategic meetings with groups of all sizes
  • Working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare health care operations including HEDIS, CMS reimbursement models, and Medicare Advantage
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws relating to Medicare
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability and willingness to travel, both locally and non-locally, as determined by business need
  • Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Healthcare management experience
  • Proven solid business acumen, analytical, critical thinking, and persuasion skills
  • Proven ability to function as a mentor to others
  • Proven ability to develop long-term positive working relationships
  • Proven ability to work independently, use good judgment and decision-making process
  • Proven ability to conduct performance evaluation to identify performance measures or indicators and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
