We're seeking a proactive, data driven Senior Business Analyst who brings curiosity, analytical depth, and strategic thinking to complex problems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, collaborates across diverse functions, and can independently lead analysis from discovery through executive ready recommendations.

As part of our COVE team, you'll work in an in office, real time environment focused on elevating provider and operational experiences. The team monitors key trends and experience signals to help the business quickly detect opportunities to improve operations and remove friction. In this role, you'll help establish new analytical frameworks, provide thought leadership, and enhance analytical rigor while driving continuous improvements.

This is a hybrid role requiring an average of four (4) in office days per week working from the Minnetonka, MN location.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze operational and claims data, including provider feedback, contact patterns, claims trends, authorization workflows, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process, cost, and experience improvements
  • Monitor and interpret dashboards and key metrics to surface trends and emerging friction points across provider-facing operations and journeys
  • Collaborate closely with Provider Services, Claims, Clinical Operations, Network, Product, and other cross-functional teams to address issues and elevate end-to-end provider experiences
  • Lead intake and scoping for analysis requests, define problem statements, and deliver insights that influence strategic decisions
  • Independently own complex analytical projects from concept through delivery, including navigating unfamiliar data environments and building analyses from scratch
  • Present insights to senior leaders and cross-functional partners using strong data storytelling, visuals, and business framing
  • Track the impact of implemented recommendations and refine approaches based on results and feedback
  • Strengthen team capabilities by identifying process improvements, refining methodologies, and sharing best practices with peer analysts

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, operations, claims, or provider-facing functions, with demonstrated progression in scope or complexity
  • Advanced Excel skills (functions, pivot tables, large dataset manipulation)
  • SQL proficiency with experience querying large datasets across multiple tables
  • Intermediate PowerPoint proficiency with experience presenting insights
  • Must reside in Minnesota and be able to work in the Minnetonka, MN office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with provider operations, claims processing, prior authorization, credentialing, or provider servicing workflows- ideally within healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries
  • Experience analyzing multi-channel feedback and operational data (e.g., calls, surveys)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or equivalent) and ability to interpret complex visualizations
  • Comfort navigating unstructured or unfamiliar data environments and building new analytical approaches
  • Understanding of healthcare claims lifecycles, denial/appeal processes, or provider network operations
  • Proven ability to deliver creative, tailored insights that align with business goals
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Ability to independently lead complex projects and offer strategic insights
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to evolving business needs
  • Exceptional written communication; able to tailor messaging to various audiences
  • Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy and quality standards

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
