In addition, this role requires hands-on experience working with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), specifically publishing data, managing datasets, and building/maintaining AEP schemas using XDM standards.


Reporting to the Director, Data Strategy & Stewardship, the Sr. Digital Product Manager is an individual contributor who turns business needs and data strategy into shippable capabilities on the Experience Data Platform. Embedded with an assigned engineering pod, they lead discovery, define features and epics for one or more data product areas, and partner with the Lead Digital Product Manager to translate business needs into clear, prioritized work.


The Sr. Digital Product Manager manages the product backlog and end-to-end delivery for their assigned epics and features with their engineering pod. Working in an Agile Scrum environment, they lead key ceremonies, coordinate with Engineering and other delivery teams, and ensure high-quality, on-time releases that meet business, technical, and compliance standards.


Success in this role requires solid product management skills, experience with agile engineering teams, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners. The Sr. Digital Product Manager balances trade-offs between scope, timing, and quality, contributes to roadmap planning, and maintains transparency and alignment across stakeholders.


You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) roadmap, backlog, and delivery cycles across enterprise teams
  • Lead the planning, governance, and evolution of AEP schemas in partnership with Data & Analytics, governance committees and downstream activation teams
  • Define, operationalize, and optimize scalable audience and segment strategies to support personalization, measurement, and cross‑channel activation
  • Translate business needs in to clear AEP use cases by partnering closely with Product Leads, Marketing Operations, Customer Journey teams, and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with AJO (Journey Orchestration) and CJA (Customer Journey Analytics) product managers to ensure alignment on audiences, data readiness, and activation workflows
  • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure accurate data publishing, high data quality, and effective identity stitching between our Experience Evolution platform and AEP
  • Facilitate user feedback loops, create documentation, and support onboarding across product, business, and technical teams
  • Monitor platform performance and usage metrics, providing insights and driving adoption across business units and international markets
  • Write and refine epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide the engineering pod and embed data quality, compliance, and performance requirements
  • Serve as Product Owner for the assigned engineering pod, managing backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and predictable delivery
  • Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring visibility into progress, decisions, risks, and delivery impacts
  • Track and proactively resolve delivery milestones, dependencies, blockers, and risks to ensure transparency and alignment with capability roadmaps
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders, end users, and experiments (e.g., pilots, A/B tests) into ongoing backlog and sprint planning
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of demonstrated Product Owner experience in Agile/Scrum (or equivalent), including end-to-end delivery, backlog ownership, and sprint planning in complex environments
  • Demonstrated experience serving as Product Owner for an embedded engineering pod (or equivalent), driving prioritization and managing delivery trade-offs
  • Demonstrated experience translating business needs and user insights into epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria
  • Demonstrated experience partnering across Architecture, Engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver platform capabilities
  • Demonstrated solid written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to drive alignment across technical and non-technical teams and provide executive-ready updates
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining delivery focus and accountability
  • Demonstrated solid analytical and problem-solving skills, using data and metrics to assess performance and inform decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with AEP schema design and segment building
  • Experience analyzing and synthesizing data to inform roadmap priorities, identify risks/opportunities, and recommend actions
  • Experience using product and delivery tooling (e.g., Aha!, Rally, or similar) to manage work, dependencies, and delivery reporting
  • Understanding of data privacy and consent management frameworks
  • Familiarity with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
  • Familiarity leveraging AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, reporting, and/or product workflow (e.g., automated insights, anomaly detection, AI-assisted documentation)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
