Assist in all aspects of physical security, or equipment maintenance dealing with access control and security cameras, at Kelsey-Seybold locations. Ability to troubleshoot, repair, relocate, and/or install parts related to the AMAG Access Control System, CCTV system, mortis locks, sliding doors or any equipment being electrical or mechanical and dealing with access control to any facility.  Ability to work with IT on the KS Network as it applies to the Access Control and CCTV monitoring.  Assist Human Resources in issues related to the printing of Access Control Badges and providing access per HELP Desk requests.  To work independently in the absence of the Chief of Security regarding any access control issues to any facility.  Work closely with the Facilities Project Manager regarding any security, access control or CCTV needs on future projects. Assist in the overall security needs or issues that may arise and provide input when asked regarding best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • AS (2 year Electronics Technical School) or equivalent experience
  • Security Systems Software experience 5+ years progressive Access Control, CCTV, Automatic Door Service     
  • Texas Alarm Installer
  • Ability to work on all types of locking devices and automatic doors
  • Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree. Ten years of Progressive Electronic Access Control/CCTV Experience (can Substitute for Bachelor's Degree)
  • 15+ years AMAG trained in install and troubleshooting systems along with certifications for various software programs.  CCTV installs and troubleshoots. Network experience
  • AMAG Certification, Access Control Installer, Texas Electronic Access Control Installer, OSHA, TWIC
  • AMAG and Network Experience. Ability to work on KS Intercom Systems, and access control gates to include design.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
