We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team and build robust, scalable, and cloud‑ready applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java 21, React, Spring Boot 6, JPA, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure, along with hands‑on experience leveraging AI‑driven development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Spec‑Kit, and Codexto accelerate development, improve design quality, and enhance developer productivity.

This role focuses on delivering high‑quality software solutions using modern engineering practices, including development, automation, and cloud‑native design.

 You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 21, Spring Boot 6, and JPA, ensuring clean architecture and scalability
  • Build dynamic, responsive, and reusable front‑end components using React
  • Leverage AI‑driven development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Spec‑Kit, and Codex for code generation, refactoring, documentation, test scaffolding, and design validation during daily development activities
  • Implement and optimize database solutions using SQL Server, including schema design, performance tuning, and query optimization
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure using best practices for reliability, security, and scalability
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and QA teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions aligned with business requirements
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following industry standards and secure coding practices
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the full stack
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by adopting modern tools, AI‑assisted workflows, and engineering best practices
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI

Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in Java and object-oriented programming 
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot 6 for microservices and RESTful APIs
  • 3+ years of experience with React for Front-end Development
  • 3+ years of experience in SQL Server and relational database design
  • 1+ years of experience using AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar platforms to improve coding efficiency and quality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud services (App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of JPA and ORM concepts for database interaction
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of application security best practices and performance optimization techniques
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and promoting modern engineering practices, including AI‑assisted development

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
