Payment Integrity Compass seeks to impact hospitals' bottom line performance by delivering targeted revenue recovery solutions that ensure accurate claims reimbursement, improve workflow and payment collection, streamline contract negotiations, optimize cash flow and profitability, and ensure accurate implementation and compliance. Payment Integrity Compass' rich health care knowledge and market-focused technology solutions and services empower hospitals to identify and then eliminate systemic issues that cause revenue inefficiencies. The result is a significant return on investment with long term sustainable improvement in revenue and profitability.

An integral part of the Payment Integrity Compass team, the Health Care Insurance Contract Analyst will maintain responsibility for the analysis, modeling, interpretation and loading of healthcare/managed care insurance contracts in the Payment Integrity Compass application.

Our opportunity is currently based in the Chennai, India office.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, interpret and load healthcare insurance contract data into the Payment Integrity Compass system
  • Provide quantitative analysis in validating payer contract reimbursements against Payment Integrity  Compass system calculations using patient accounting data
  • Research new calculation methodologies, contract reimbursement terms, and payment formulae
  • Provide functional client support via phone, e-mail and chat
  • Work directly with the client to provide high customer satisfaction
  • Additional Responsibilities may include:
  • Provide training to clients on programming and validating contracts using the Payment Integrity Compass system
  • Update and maintain existing client contract post-implementation
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ years of client management or project management experience in a professional work environment
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues
  • Proven ability to articulate to client how contract terms relate to system configuration


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the US health care industry
  • Experience independently managing project milestones
  • Experience building client relationships
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formula calculations, and V-look ups
  • Some course work or a basic understanding of  simple computer programming
  • Proven ability to understand/write algorithmic type logic
