Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely with data science team and Data Science leads as a lead on one or more projects throughout the engagement lifecycle, from design to implementation
• Ensure high sense of project ownership
• Ensure timely and proper communication to Business Partners and Leaders
• Timely and quality delivery of engagements with minimum supervision
• Work with the business teams to operationalize the analytics solution
• Engage in communications with business partners for all important functions associated with the project including data understanding, solution design etc.
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience
• Education Level: Any stream with relevant experience 
• Experience in Analytics industry
• Working experience of statistical techniques (like linear regression, logistic regression, time series analysis, clustering, and decision trees) and advanced techniques like SVM, GBM and NLP
• Acquire understanding of US healthcare Domain 
• Proficient in tools such as Python, Databricks and Microsoft Office Excel/Access/PowerPoint
• Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating good level of maturity
• Proven ability to engage in client communications for all important functions including data understanding/exploration, strategizing solutions etc.
• Proven ability to leverage Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses, Cloud, Azure and Databricks solve complex business problems in Healthcare Domain
• Proven excellent interpersonal and team skills
• Proven excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven excellent problem solving abilities
