Primary Responsibilities:

• Work as a Quality / Test engineer for Java application
• Execute functional, integration, P2P testing for complex Java-based applications
• Independently troubleshoot automation failures, analyze logs, debug code, and identify root causes
• Enhance Automation Frameworks as per the Project / Design needs
• Setup and Implement CI / CD automation pipelines using system like GitHub actions, Maven, and Docker
• Deliver within an Agile (scrum) environment
• Assist in sprint planning, estimation, requirement analysis and review
• Collaborate with stakeholders to plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
• Create, maintain and execute test plans and test cases against various micro services, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day-to-day QA activities
• Document processes and procedures in managing services and making sure best practices are always followed

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing manual and automation test scripts
• Hands-on experience in automation framework enhancements (modularization, utilities, reporting plugins, grid setup, CI integration)
• Solid experience in Manual and Automation Testing across web, API, and database layers
• Experience delivering BDD-based automation solutions using Cucumber for UI, API, and DB validation
• Proven experience with Hybrid Automation Frameworks design and implementation
• Experience with Performance Testing using JMeter, Gatling
• Experience with version control systems including Git, GitHub, and GitLab
• Expertise in API (Web Services) Testing using REST Assured and Karate framework
• Solid background in Database Testing with hands-on SQL for data validation
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes
• Solid understanding of end-to-end test strategy, test planning, and defect lifecycle management
• Usage of AI tools in the testing lifecycle, and implement AI agent workflows to improve operational efficiency
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure)
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional agile teams
• Proven ability to update or enhance Testing
• Proven ability to take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation and analysis
