We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Receivable Senior Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for end-to-end AR operations. This role demands solid leadership, process optimization, stakeholder management, and strategic financial planning capabilities. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Operational Oversight
- Set team direction, resolve operational challenges, and provide guidance to team members
- Lead and manage a team of 20+ professionals (Including Billing Manager), ensuring timely and accurate billing
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support career development
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Mentor and develop billing and finance staff, conduct performance reviews, and support career growth
- Lead change management initiatives to upskill teams and embed a digital-first mindset
- Understand team dynamics, identify attrition risks, and recognize high performers
- Financial Reporting, Compliance, Audit, Compliance and Controls
- Oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance across business units
- Drive automation and process optimization in accounting and reporting functions
- Support internal and external audits related to billing and revenue
- Sox support and audit
- Billing Operations
- Lead and manage the billing team to ensure timely and accurate invoice
- Review and approve complex billing transactions and adjustments
- Monitor billing cycles and ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs
- Automate billing workflows and integrate billing systems with ERP platforms
- Ensure billing practices comply with company policies, contractual terms, and regulatory requirements
- Provide billing insights and reports to senior leadership
- Running Contract and Billing Interface Request for generating invoices
- Review and approve TBP (Transaction Based Pricing) reconciliations for invoicing
- Daily Governance Calls for various process activities such as Salesforce, CBP Error log, Unposted, Enterprise now
- Managing Escalation calls with Account Management Team and Onshore Partners regarding pending Billing issues
- Financial Strategy and Planning
- Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling aligned with business strategy
- Partner with executive leadership to evaluate footprint opportunities and strategic initiatives
- Provide actionable insights through advanced analytics and performance dashboards
- Develop and monitor risk mitigation strategies ensuring financial integrity and regulatory compliance
- Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve billing disputes
- Establish seamless collaboration workflows between offshore and onshore stakeholders
- Adapt departmental plans to address business and operational challenges
- Enhance resource management by mapping team skill sets and optimizing utilization
- Process Improvement and Change Management
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements
- Drive automation and digital-first mindset across accounting and reporting functions
- Lead change management initiatives to upskill teams and embed best practices
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Skills:
- Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams
- Solid analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in ERP systems, billing platforms, and automation tools
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and emotional intelligence
- Solid Technical and problem-solving aptitude
Required Qualifications:
- MBA or M. Com or B. Com in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Proven track record in strategic planning, financial modeling, and digital transformation
- Proven solid leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- 15+ years of experience in People Management, Process set up, Process transition
- Understanding of accounting effect and manual adjustments
- Intermediate (or advanced) level of Microsoft Excel proficiency, including creating pivot tables for reporting purposes and completing V-lookups along with good Power Point Presentation skills
- Open for evening shifts: 15:30 to 01:00
