We are seeking an experienced Azure Platform Architect with solid expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Snowflake, Azure Web Applications, and GitHub Actions/DevOps. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and govern enterprise-scale cloud data and AI platforms, ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Cloud & Platform Architecture
  • Design end-to-end Azure-based data and AI/ML platforms
  • Define enterprise cloud architecture standards, governance, and best practices
  • Lead modernization and migration initiatives from on premises to Azure
  • Collaborate with business, data engineering, AI/ML, infrastructure, and security teams
• Azure Databricks
  • Architect and implement Databricks Lakehouse solutions
  • Design Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
  • Build scalable AI/ML, data engineering, and analytics solutions
  • Implement Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Databricks Workflows
  • Optimize cluster performance and cloud costs
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Design enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Develop metadata-driven ingestion frameworks
  • Implement orchestration, scheduling, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms
  • Integrate structured, semi-structured, and streaming data sources
• Snowflake
  • Optimize warehouse utilization and query performance
  • Implement data governance, RBAC, masking policies, and cost controls
• Azure Web Applications
  • Design and deploy enterprise web applications using Azure App Services
  • Integrate applications with Azure AD, APIs, Databricks, and Snowflake
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and application security
  • Build highly available and scalable application architectures
• DevOps & GitHub Actions
  • Design CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Establish automated testing, security scanning, and deployment strategies
  • Enable DevSecOps practices and release management

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in providing technical leadership to engineering teams
• Experience in driving architecture reviews and design decisions
• Experience in mentoring developers, data engineers, and ML engineers
• Experience in establishing engineering standards and cloud best practices
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and executive leadership
• Hands on experience working upon above responsibilities
