Primary Responsibilities:

• Architecture, Design & Problem Solving
  • Contribute to component-level and service-level designs aligned with established architectural patterns
  • Create technical design documents for medium-to-large features to ensure alignment across the team
  • Evaluate dependencies, technical impacts, trade-offs, and implementation approaches when designing solutions
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions, providing practical recommendations
  • Solve complex technical problems by translating business requirements into scalable engineering solutions
  • Promote code and component reuse within the team and across related applications
• Coding & Implementation
  • Design, build, and maintain backend services and automation frameworks using Python
  • Deliver high-quality, performant, testable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices
  • Design APIs, data models, and integration workflows with clear documentation and intent
  • Refactor and improve existing solutions to reduce technical debt and enhance maintainability
  • Contribute consistently through meaningful commits and pull requests
• Code Reviews & Collaboration
  • Review pull requests for quality, readability, test coverage, and adherence to standards
  • Mentor team members while remaining actively involved in coding and technical design
  • Provide constructive technical feedback and mentor engineers through code reviews
  • Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and platform teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Incorporate feedback into future design and implementation decisions
• Security
  • Apply secure coding practices and address identified vulnerabilities in delivered solutions
  • Understand common application and infrastructure security patterns
  • Integrate security checks into CI/CD workflows and automation pipelines
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security and engineering standards
  • Agile Delivery
  • Collaborate with product management to refine user stories and technical tasks
  • Drive feature delivery across multiple teams by coordinating dependencies and removing blockers
  • Break down larger initiatives into manageable stories and implementation tasks
  • Support frequent delivery and deployment of features
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 4+ years of hands-on Python development in production environments (e.g., FastAPI, Flask)
• Experience designing and building APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading feature teams
• Experience building developer tooling or automation platforms
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security automation
• Understanding of networking, security, and modern application architecture
• Proven problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in enterprise-scale distributed environments
• Familiarity with AI/ML or LLM-based automation solutions
• Proven exposure to observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or CloudWatch
