The candidate will support UHG's tax function by delivering US State and Federal tax compliance while acting as a tax technology and automation expert to drive efficiency, standardization, and audit readiness.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare US State Corporate Income Tax Return (Separates & Combined Returns)
    • Proficient in OneSource/Gosystems
  • Prepare US Federal Income Tax Returns-1120 and 1120PC
  • Work on legal entity Tax Provisions
  • Design and automate tax workflows using power automate and low-code tools to reduce manual effort and errors
  • Partner with Tax and IT teams to translate tax requirements into scalable technology solutions
  • Support implementation and optimization of tax engines and tax data solutions (e.g., OneSource, Alteryx, Checkpoint, etc.,)
  • Apply Microsoft Copilot and M365 tools (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook) to enhance documentation, analysis, and collaboration
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and standardization across tax cycles
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • B.com, MBA in finance,EA, CA/CPA,Power BI certification ,AI Certification
  • 2+ years of experience in US corporate tax compliance, provision or tax transformation roles
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, dashboards)
  • Practical experience with Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables, complex formulas - Index, Xlookup, Hlookup)
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets and convert data into actionable insights
  • Proven solid communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders


Preferred Qualifications:

  • * Tax experience in US Corporate/Insurance sector with good knowledge of the OneSource tax software
  • * Experience in tax automation, tax technology, or digital tax transformation programs
  • * Exposure to low-code apps or process mining tools
  • * Exposure to AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot


Work Hours: From 11:00 a.m. to 8:30pm from March to January and 6:00 pm to 3:30 am during February. Should be ready to work beyond normal shift timings especially when required during year end and compliance season.
