Primary Responsibilities:
- Support product ownership and execution for EDI clearinghouse platforms, including claims intake, validation, routing, and remittance workflows
- Manage and maintain the product backlog, ensuring clear, well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization aligned with business and regulatory needs
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver high-quality EDI transaction processing solutions
- Contribute to execution of AI/ML-enabled capabilities such as intelligent validation, denial prediction, and exception handling within EDI workflows
- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to support implementation, testing, and refinement of AI-driven features
- Apply working knowledge of EDI transactions (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277) to support system enhancements, configurations, and issue resolution
- Assist in implementation of EDI mappings, transformations, and trading partner integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to support delivery and resolve issues
- Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Track and report on key performance indicators including transaction volumes, rejection rates, and system performance
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency within the platform
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be graduate
- 8+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or technology roles
- 4+ years of experience working with EDI transactions in healthcare (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277)
- Experience working in Agile environments with exposure to backlog management and user story development
- Experience translating business requirements into functional or technical specifications
- Exposure to working with engineering teams to deliver technology solutions
- Basic understanding of data analysis and use of metrics to support product decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare clearinghouse, payer, or revenue cycle management (RCM) platforms
- Familiarity with HIPAA/X12 standards and EDI processing workflows
- Exposure to AI/ML or data-driven product features
- Familiarity with APIs, FHIR, or modern interoperability standards
- Technical background or foundational knowledge in software or data systems
- Proven solid communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
