Software Engineer (Java React FSD and claim processing)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications based on project requirements and specifications
• Code Review and Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality through peer reviews, testing, and adherence to coding standards
• Collaboration: Work closely with onshore teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and system architecture
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to existing systems, tools, and processes
• Version Control: Use tools like Git for source code management and collaboration
• Testing: Write unit tests, integration tests, and participate in system testing to ensure software reliability
• Agile Practices: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of Agile development methodologies
• Support and Maintenance: Provide support for production systems, including monitoring, incident resolution, and performance optimization
• Learning and Development: Stay updated with the latest AI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to enhance skills and contribute to the team as a AI Builder
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's is a plus)
• Certifications: Optional certifications in cloud technologies or relevant tools/frameworks
• 2+ years in software development, debugging, and testing
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), databases (SQL/NoSQL), version control (Git), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and Agile methodologies
• Additional Requirements: Familiarity with claim domain knowledge, ability to work independently, and a willingness to learn new AI technologies
• Soft Skills: Proven solid communication, problem-solving, and adaptability to work across time zones
