We have an opportunity for a Sr Data Analyst with Optum Rx. This is a strategic analysis role that requires technical expertise with data analysis.
Employees in this position conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short- and long-term operational and strategic business activities by developing, maintaining, and enhancing operational information and models.

They also develop and implement effective / strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.

Primary Responsibilities:
- This is a strategic analysis role that requires technical expertise with data analysis
- Produce leading edge forecasting and analytics to guide the business
- Ability to gain insights and knowledge from historical data and trends
- Review the approaches to complex business problems
- Produce effective analytics that yield large improvements for the business
- Serve as an expert who will lead transformational business change based on solid analytics and recommendations
- Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed
- Work with less structured, more complex issues

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of data analysis and Workload Balancing experience
- 3+ years of experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements
- Skilled with reporting analytics and forecasting tools such as SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience with Pharmacy

The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
