Primary Responsibilities:

• 19%     Supervision Responsible for of In-Clinic pharmacy distribution as ordered by clinic staff according to State and Federal Pharmacy laws/regulations, and KSC policies and procedures
  
  10%     Prepare and distribute medications to clinics on a timely basis
• 10%     Monitors lab value and auditing capabilities for appropriate medication orders in ASC
• 10%     Uses knowledge of specific values when reviewing medication orders in EHR
• 10%     Collaborate with courier services to ensure optimum course of distribution
• 7%     Maintains and monitors compliance for ASC Pharmacies
• 8%     Able to provide pertinent drug and protocol information to physicians, nurses and patients on drug actions, side effects, and drug interactions. Knowledge of surgical medications and ASC experience
• 2%     Trains pharmacy personnel and assigned students
• 4%     Charge capture of all pharmaceuticals for clinic orders
• 5%     Responsible for the proper ordering and stocking of pharmaceuticals and devices availability while achieving both monthly purchasing expenditures and inventory turns objectives
• 8%     Collaboration with nursing colleagues
• 6%     Collaborations with prescribing physician and allied health professionals to ensure optimum and safe course of therapy (ies)
• 1%     Attends meetings as designated

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from School of Pharmacy
• Texas license Registered Pharmacist
• 2+ years of hospital/clinic pharmacy experience
• Proficiency in EPIC HER
• Proficiency in Automated Dispensing Cabinet
• Proficiency in Surgical Setting
• Proven to operate computer terminal
• Proven ability to communicate with Pharmacy Department personnel to delegate duties and inform and train about policies and procedures
• Proven ability to communicate with physicians and other allied health professionals regarding patient care issues
• Proven ability to communicate with amongst staff and in clinic patients to handle complaints and problems, assist with questions, and recommend products/recommendations 
• Stress Tolerance - Proven to accurately distribute medication orders within the required amount of time
• Proven professional appearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• KSC experience
• Proven solid hospital and surgical center background
• Proven to write reports (i.e., weekly/monthly) pertaining to accident/injury, maintain logs, necessary ASC records
• Proven excellent people management skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
