Primary Responsibilities:
- Support and enhance Oracle Health (Cerner) PharmNet functionality
- Configure and maintain medication dictionaries, formulary setup, dispense rules, and charging workflows
- Support the end‑to‑end medication management process, including:
- Medication ordering (CPOE)
- Pharmacist verification
- Dispensing
- Medication administration (BCMA)
- Medication reconciliation
- Configure and optimize PowerPlans, PowerOrders, PowerForms, and medication-related clinical decision support
- Support pharmacy and medication safety workflows, including alerts, duplication checks, and allergy interactions
- Troubleshoot and resolve medication-related incidents and perform root‑cause analysis
- Participate in upgrades, domain moves, integrated testing, UAT, and go‑live support
- Collaborate closely with pharmacy staff, clinicians, nursing, and revenue cycle teams
- Develop and maintain functional documentation, workflow diagrams, and configuration guides
- Support training and adoption for pharmacy and clinical end users
- Ensure configuration aligns with patient safety standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Informatics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) integrated bedside technology
- Experience supporting pharmacy verification, dispensing, and administration processes
- Deep technical expertise in integrated bedside technology and enterprise medical device connectivity, including deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support of hardware and software integrated with the EHR via the iBus Platform. Solid understanding of bedside clinical systems such as physiologic monitoring, fetal monitoring, anesthesia devices, digital room displays, and patient observation solutions
- Proven ability to ensure reliable device integration, accurate clinical workflows, and system stability in a front-line support role across a multi-hospital health system
- Solid understanding of medication workflows within acute care environments
- Knowledge of medication safety, formulary management, and medication lifecycle
- Solid analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
