Primary Responsibilities:

• Azure DevOps POC Configuration and Administration
  • Support the active ADO POC by configuring and validating Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Artifacts
  • Design and configure ADO projects, teams, Areas, Iterations, backlogs, and work-item processes aligned with delivery needs
  • Establish reusable platform configuration standards, naming conventions, governance controls, and administration procedures
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues and work with engineering, architecture, security, and infrastructure teams to validate the POC
• CI/CD Pipeline Engineering
  • Design, build, configure, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML and, where required, Classic pipelines
  • Create pipeline templates and reusable components for build, test, security validation, artifact publishing, and deployment
  • Configure environment-specific approvals, checks, release gates, service connections, and segregation-of-duties controls
  • Troubleshoot pipeline failures, improve reliability, and document operational support procedures
  • Ensure pipelines are auditable, secure, and suitable for controlled enterprise environments
• Source Code and ADO Migration
  • Plan and execute the migration of source code from Version Manager to Azure Repos while preserving required history, structure, traceability, and access controls
  • Assess existing repositories, branches, build processes, dependencies, and release workflows before migration
  • Define migration waves, validation criteria, rollback procedures, reconciliation checks, and cutover plans
  • Partner with application teams to validate migrated code, repository integrity, pipeline functionality, and development continuity
  • Apply lessons learned from prior ADO or legacy source-control migrations to reduce delivery and compliance risk
• Repository Strategy and Git Flow
  • Define and implement Git Flow or fit-for-purpose branching strategies for development, release, hotfix, and production support
  • Configure branch policies, pull-request requirements, reviewer rules, merge strategies, status checks, and repository protections
  • Guide development teams on Git practices, repository hygiene, conflict resolution, and controlled code promotion
• Security, Permissions, and Governance
  • Configure ADO security groups, project and repository permissions, role-based access, service accounts, and least-privilege controls
  • Implement approvals, auditability, traceability, and evidence requirements for regulated or controlled environments
  • Coordinate with identity and security teams for Microsoft Entra ID integration, credential management, and access reviews
  • Document the security model, support periodic access certification, and remediate permission issues
• Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree
• 7+ years of overall IT experience, with significant hands-on experience in DevOps, configuration management, release engineering, or platform administration
• 4+ years of hands-on Azure DevOps administration and engineering experience
• Solid hands-on experience configuring Azure Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts
• Experience designing ADO projects, teams, Areas, Iterations, backlogs, and work-item structures
• Experience configuring deployment approvals, checks, release gates, environments, and permission models
• Solid knowledge of Git, Git Flow, branching strategies, pull requests, merge practices, and branch policies
• Working knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or equivalent tools
• Expertise creating and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Solid troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-collaboration skills
• Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms, translating business needs into scalable applications that enhance products, workflows, and decision-making
