We currently have a full time, Nurse Practitioner (MNA) position supporting our OB-GYN department at our Quincy location. Provides well women, prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and all-inclusive gynecological care within the scope of his/her practice. Complements the Ob/Gyn MD in providing care to women with moderately complex issues, both acute and chronic. Serves as a patient educator. Provides rounding on patients in the hospital as determined by the needs of the practice and call group. We offer superior staffing resources and a fully integrated EMR system.
Skills
Must exhibit strong critical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal and good patient interviewing skills. Highly motivated and self-directed. Ability to interpret clinical information, assess the implication of treatment and develop and implement a plan of care. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a rapidly changing environment with multiple demands. Up to date with current standard of nursing care in Specialty. Demonstrated excellence in practice, documentation and utilization. Maintain high patient satisfaction. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong computer skills.

Required Qualifications:
* Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Must be nationally certified as an FNP or WHNP, graduate from an accredited master's degree NP program and possess state licensure to practice as an APRN. Current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Must possess and maintain, or be eligible for, Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration.
* Physician Assistant (PA) - Must have national certification and Commonwealth of Massachusetts licensure as a Physician Assistant. NP/PA - Must possess and maintain, or be eligible for, Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration.
Preferred Qualifications:
* A minimum of 2 years of ambulatory OBYGN experience
* Previous experience as a nurse practitioner in primary care
* Experience with an electronic medical records system, EPIC experienced preferred
The salary range for this role is $104,500 to $156,000 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
