The Business Process Coordinator provides Risk Adjustment support to provider groups, DataRAP staff, and vendors. Responsibilities include (not limited to) providing feedback on DataRAP programs and processes and assisting in DataRAP support tools (e.g. Splitter and Provider Administrative Tool). Ensures clinician satisfaction; maintains accountability throughout the annual chart retrieval and review process. Supports reconciling vendor invoices and supports incentive payments to providers. This position collaborates with multiple departments, stakeholders, and operational partners in all markets.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform the coordinator role through support of the annual chart retrieval and review process with provider groups and vendors
- Supports quality performance and productivity by assisting in DataRAP support tools
- Ensure consistent high-quality communication is provided to vendors and clinical staff
- Adhere and stay abreast of changes to internal workflows, business rules, policies, and procedures
- Utilize relevant software applications (e.g., Excel; Word; SharePoint; Outlook)
- Generate/run reports to provide DataRAP staff with relevant information
- Gather/utilize feedback regarding processes and procedures to help identify and implement applicable changes/improvements through User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Demonstrate knowledge of relevant data confidentially and in accordance to guidelines (e.g., HIPAA compliance) and supports provider contact verification
- Demonstrate understanding of fundamental health-care related terminology
- Responsible for reconciling vendor invoicing and supporting incentive payments
- Performs all other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical, and/or business setting or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications to include Excel (view, sort, filter, creating spreadsheets) Power Point (create slides), Word (view, create, edit), Outlook and Microsoft Teams
- Ability to work on-site, Monday - Thursday. Our office is located at 19500 IH - 10 West, San Antonio, TX 78257. In-office days may change and are subject to business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a physician's clinic or hospital
- Experience in processing invoices
- Experience creating Pivot tables within Excel
- Basic knowledge in medical terminology
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Reside within commutable distance to the office at 19500 IH - 10 West, San Antonio, TX 78257.
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
Soft skills:
- Demonstrated excellent verbal, written communication and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, with some supervision and direction from manager

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $36.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
