Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides clerical and/or administrative support to clinical staff and managers for clinical programs
- Receives and responds to escalated pharmacy inquiries
- Exhibits excellent phone and communication skills while providing complete and accurate information to include but not limited to clinicians, members, and manager
- Adheres to an assigned schedule and quality metrics
- Uses multi-lined telephonic to answer and place calls
- May serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for other Pharmacy Care Coordinators on the Clinical Pharmacy Team
- Completes calls/assignments to meet weekly and monthly productivity standards
- Document administrative work and other telephonic communications into internal database
- Provides excellent customer service by serving as a resource for all internal and external customers
- Participate in and contribute to staff meetings and other staff development opportunities and interdepartmental work groups
- Identify areas of improvement where systems modifications could result in operational advancements and efficiencies
- Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements
- Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems
- Translates concepts into practice
- Acts as a resource for others with less experience
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of administrative support experience with an additional 1-2 years of experience in a customer service environment
- 6+ months of experience in a medical setting
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent organizational skills, customer service skills, and verbal and written communication skills to include but not limited to patients, physicians, clinical staff, contracted providers, and managers
- Comfortable working in a rapidly changing and highly matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- PBM experience
- Working knowledge of Medicare Part B and D coverage guidelines and payment methodologies/previous retail pharmacy experience
- Previous call center experience
- Advanced knowledge of NCPDP and other types of prescription drug claims
- Bilingual

- High degree of professionalism, to always include both personal conduct and appearance
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as a member of a team, with some supervision and direction from manager
- Must always maintain strict confidentiality to include but not limited to patients and coworkers
- Comfortable working in a rapidly changing and highly matrixed environment

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.98 to $32.12 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
