This role will help support a team that performs reviews of contracts and underwriting documents to ensure accurate information is distributed to various teams to setup or update a client. During reviews, if any variances are identified, you will work closely with other teams to research and ensure corrections are completed. Attention to detail, great time management, excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary to excel in this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review complex contracts against Underwriting documentation, ensuring 100% accuracy within established timeframes.
- Analyze, collect, review, and validate supporting documentation for completed reviews, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) audit requirements.
- Communicate and submit case status, resolution timelines, and key updates to leadership.
- Triage incoming requests and determine appropriate next steps to complete reviews efficiently.
- Identify, assess, and route potential variances identified during reviews to the appropriate teams.
- Document clear, complete, and concise case notes within the ServiceNow system and Comparison tool.
- Ensure accurate data entry based on thorough research and analysis.
- Verify that all required documentation is attached and properly maintained within each case file.
- Identify and obtain additional information required to make accurate and appropriate determinations.
- Draft clear and effective communications to business partners to obtain decisions when necessary.
- Support special projects, process improvement initiatives, and automation efforts to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Prioritize workload based on due dates and leverage applicable worklist and reporting tools to monitor volume and capacity.
- Plan, organize, and execute work independently to meet established deadlines and service level expectations.
- Independently resolve moderately complex issues using sound judgment and analytical skills.
- Translate complex information clearly and align with cross‑functional partners through written communication or facilitated meetings.
- Meet or exceed quality, productivity, and utilization targets.
- Complete Ad hoc assignments as needed, including large contract risk language reviews.

Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a production environment
- Experience in an office setting environment using the computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
- Experience with Microsoft Tools: Microsoft Word (creating memos, writing), Microsoft Outlook (setting calendar appointments, email) and Microsoft Excel (creating spreadsheets, filtering, navigating reports)
- Demonstrated high attention to detail including ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Spanish and English oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and possess solid analytical skills
- Ability to work 40 hours / week during standard business operating hours Monday - Saturday from 8am - 8pm AST (It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime on weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in audit or audit‑related functions.
- Familiarity with healthcare industry terminology, processes, and regulatory concepts.
- Experience with contract interpretation, including the ability to analyze and apply contractual language.
