We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with solid hands-on experience building modern web applications using Go (Golang) and HTMX with a server-driven UI approach, while also being comfortable collaborating in environments that include .NET services and React front ends.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end design and delivery of scalable full-stack applications using Go (Golang), HTMX (server-driven UI), and modern web architectures
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, setting engineering standards and guiding teams through design, development, and delivery
  • Own architecture and solution design, ensuring secure, resilient, and high-performing systems aligned with enterprise and cloud-native best practices
  • Lead cloud engineering on Azure, designing and operating scalable solutions leveraging platform services (storage, messaging, identity, serverless)
  • Champion DevOps and quality practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and efficient release management
  • Ensure operational excellence, including monitoring, performance tuning, incident management, and secure data handling
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, business stakeholders, and teams working with NET and React ecosystems to deliver integrated solutions
  • Promote innovation and productivity through adoption of AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, M365)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in full lifecycle software development in an agile environment
  • Solid hands-on development experience with: Go (Golang) building services/APIs and web applications HTMX (or server-driven UI frameworks/patterns) for interactive web experiences
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful web services
  • Experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL / PostgreSQL (or similar)
  • Working experience deploying/operating solutions in Microsoft Azure, including common Azure constructs (examples include storage, messaging, secrets, identity, functions)
  • Experience with AI Tools like GitHub Copilot, M365
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerization/deployment across environments
  • Proven solid communication and collaboration skills across engineering and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Domain Driven Design, event-driven architecture, IaC/GitOps tooling (e.g., Terraform/Helm/Flux), Kubernetes fundamentals
  • Familiarity with NET / NET Core services and patterns (integration, interoperability, or migration contexts)
  • Familiarity with Java & SpringBoot
  • Familiarity with React and modern TypeScript front-end patterns (micro-frontends, component-based UI)
  • Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP) and awareness of regulated data handling concepts (HIPAA/PHI/PII) when applicable
  • Observability and monitoring tools exposure (e.g., Splunk/Dynatrace/App Insights)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
