As a Manager of Software Engineering, you will build, manage, and inspire multiple Agile software development teams in a dynamic, high-growth environment. You will partner closely with Product Management and Architecture to shape the product roadmap, translate vision into technical execution, and establish key goals to monitor progress. We are looking for a collaborative technical leader who excels at mentoring globally distributed engineering talent, driving high-quality design and solutioning sessions, and delivering robust, scalable applications on public cloud platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage multiple engineering teams in an Agile software development environment, utilizing modern techniques and tools while empowering teams to self-organize
  • Partner with Product Management to shape the Product Roadmap and ensure team alignment with strategic product goals
  • Establish clear key performance indicators and goals to monitor and report on progress against objectives
  • Hire, coach, manage, and mentor a team of geographically distributed software engineers to foster continuous growth and technical excellence
  • Lead and resolve technical discussions and architectural decisions with developers and engineering teams
  • Participate in design and solution sessions with Architects, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to build new features that align with the product's architectural roadmap

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years of additional software development/engineering experience 
  • 8+ years of overall programming and full software development life cycle (SDLC) experience
  • 5+ years of experience providing technical and engineering leadership to small-to-medium-sized engineering teams
  • 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, highly scaled Agile environment
  • Experience delivering enterprise-grade technology products in a high-growth environment
  • Experience designing and delivering applications using component-based and distributed architecture
  • Experience working with Public Cloud Computing platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or Masters in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant computer-related field (B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, etc.)
  • Experience working within the healthcare domain
  • Experience developing highly scalable and performant applications using object-oriented design patterns, SOLID, and other software development principles
  • Experience analyzing and processing large volumes of data
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across globally distributed teams

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
