As a full-time, nonexempt Rehab Receptionist you are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing front-office operations, and supporting the overall efficiency of the Rehabilitation practice. This role involves interacting with patients, coordinating appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.


Location: Wilson Health in Sidney, Ohio

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, day shift, and additionally on an as needed basis.

Rehab Department Hours: Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-6:30pm, and Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm. The Rehab Department utilizes Epic.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Checking in and registering patient
  • Follow up with BWC providers, check insurances, complete insurance prior authorizations
  • Patient scheduling over the phone and in person

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a customer service or patient-facing role
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of insurance processes
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, problem solve and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional education or training in healthcare administration
  • Recent rehab or hospital experience


Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.98 to $32.12 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
