UnitedHealthcare is seeking a highly qualified Executive Assistant who can thrive in a dynamic and varied work environment.   This position will provide support to the Chief Executive Officer and senior leadership team of UnitedHealthcare Student Resources in a manner consistent with the highest levels of performance and professionalism based in our St. Petersburg, FL office.  This position requires solid skills in the areas of relationship building, communication, and partnering with other leaders' executive assistants, as well as with colleagues at all levels in the organization.  

The role is based in St. Petersburg, Florida, working in a hybrid model defined as three days per week in the office.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO and senior leaders, including complex calendar management, travel coordination, meeting preparation, expense and contact management
  • Serve as a gatekeeper and liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring timely, professional, and thoughtful communication
  • Anticipate executive needs by proactively identifying priorities, risks, and opportunities to optimize leaders' time and effectiveness
  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism and in accordance with internal policies and procedures
  • Exercise sound judgment in managing executive communications, documents, and decision support materials
  • Manage logistics end to end, including agendas, materials, room setup, technology coordination, vendor management, and follow up actions
  • Plan and coordinate executive meetings, leadership offsites, team sessions, sales meetings, town halls and large scale events, both in person and virtual
  • Support certain cross functional initiatives by tracking deliverables, timelines, and dependencies with internal teams
  • Prepare presentations, briefing materials, and executive summaries as needed
  • Maintain organized records, documentation, and reference materials to support continuity and effectiveness
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and administrative systems within the executive office
  • Work effectively as an integral member of a team; provide administrative support on various business unit projects and initiatives
  • Act as a liaison and work with building management and UHG facilities manager to maintain awareness of potential issues and or repairs needed within the office environment and coordinate maintenance and repair

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of administrative experience supporting C-suite leaders within a global, complex and fast-paced, matrixed organization
  • Experience supporting multiple executives at a time and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy, urgency and minimal direction
  • Experience leveraging AI capabilities such as ChatGPT and Copilot to improve team efficiency
  • Proven experience in event planning and project coordination
  • Experience coordinating large meetings and events with a broad executive audience
  • Advanced proficiency within Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Visio
  • Proven exceptional professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence
  • Proven solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior leaders and external partners
  • Willing and able to travel 5-10% +/- depending on business need
  • Reside within commuting distance to St Petersburg, Florida

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Health insurance experience
  • Experience supporting a CEO and multiple senior leaders simultaneously
  • Notary 
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic partner, not just an administrative resource

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.89 to $42.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
