This position will be part of a care management team who will manage maternity members and will support the clinical team. This is high volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive and thorough dealing with our members over the phone.
If you are located in Florida, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct welcome calls to newly enrolled Healthy First Steps members
- Explain program benefits, available resources, and expectations during initial outreach
- Support member engagement efforts through follow-up outreach and appointment reminders as needed
- Process and coordinate benefit orders for eligible members in accordance with program guidelines
- Track order status and ensure timely fulfillment
- Maintain Healthy First Steps program tracking logs and reports

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative (office) support role
- 1+ years of experience with MS Word, Excel (create, edit, save documents) and Outlook (email and calendar management)
- Reside in the state of Florida
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the health care Industry and with health care insurance
- Experience working in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting
- Experience with Community Care/ICUE
- Experience with the OB or maternity population
- Bilingual in Spanish
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas that provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Reside in a location that can receive a high-speed internet connection (additional information on UnitedHealth Group approved internet providers and restrictions will be provided

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will rangefrom $18.00 to $32.00 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
