Optum Onsites provides employer-based care that focuses on whole-person health. This role is based in Tempe, AZ covering physician PTO. It's a great fit for a confident, independent FNP / PA who enjoys variety and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Clinic locations include:

• 150 W. University Ave., Tempe
• 2108 E. Elliot Rd., Tempe

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high quality, low acuity care including:
  • Acute care of minor illness and injuries
  • Minor procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting, incision/drainage, etc.)
  • Lifestyle and well-being counseling

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Delaware
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• 2+ years of clinical experience as a FNP / PA in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, ambulatory, emergency and/or urgent care setting(s)
• Experience using computers for professional communication
• Experience using Electronic Health Record systems for medical documentation
• Experience seeing patients of all ages, including children and adolescents
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between clinic locations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Athena EMR for medical documentation
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a clinical setting

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $53.00 - $79.00 per hour. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
