The Registered Nurse for Occupational Health is responsible for the development and administration of efficient and professional operations of occupational health services in accordance with company policies, practices, procedures and applicable regulations. Additionally, this position collaborates with key Clinic Operations stakeholders to educate others regarding regulatory or clinical guidelines. The Clinical Program Nurse for Occupational Health works in a less structured, self-directed environment providing clinical guidance and serves as a resource for providers and clinical staff.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge of occupational health standards and state and federal regulatory standards including, but not limited to, CDC, OSHA, HIPAA, The Joint Commission, CMMS and state Boards of Nursing and Medical Boards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert regarding new or existing regulatory requirements
  • Maintain occupational health records and ensures accuracy of records in applicable software systems
  • Maintain employee immunization program, to include tracking due dates, notifying employees and supervisors of required actions and follow-up to ensure timely compliance
  • Assess enterprise occupational health needs; development, implement and manage new occupational health programs based on identified needs
  • Coordinate and collect data and prepare reports used by management and executive leaders to evaluate program effectiveness
  • Participate in the development and implementation of appropriate quality improvement processes and monitor key indicators
  • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings as scheduled to maintain collaborative relationships and open communication
  • Perform all duties for internal and external customers in a timely and responsible manner representing the company in a professional manner
  • Consistently demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned


This is a hybrid position that will be responsible for both remote and office-based responsibilities to best support the department.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Associate's degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse with current unrestricted license to practice in the applicable state of employment
  • 3+ years of healthcare experience in a managed care setting, hospital setting and/or physician practice setting
  • Basic understanding of federal and state regulations applicable to occupational and environmental  health and safety
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and the ability to master other departmental specific programs/applications
  • Proven independent problem identification/resolution and decision making skills
  • Proven able to prioritize, plan and handle multiple tasks and demands simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to translate concepts into practice
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and provide feedback; ability to guide others
  • This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of disease


Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29 to $52 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
